And just like that, it’s February! January flew by for me, but I’ve been hard at work (at my 9-5PM and over here at ST.) After a few brainstorming sessions, followed by honing-in on my mediocre photo-editing skills, I’m excited to share this month’s collage of local products! If you missed January 2018’s collage, I shared 7 Local Products: Helping you to keep your New Year’s Resolutions.
This month, I wanted to share local products that make great Valentine’s Day gifts for the special people in your life – mom, dad, sibling, significant other, and/or yourself! As always, local shops offer innovative takes on traditional gift ideas; so here are 7 products made or sold by local, Baltimore brands and stores.
ENZO EARRINGS by Rachel Mulherin ($325)
Natty Boh Cufflinks at QG ($60)
THE BIDDLE by Treason Toting Co. ($130)
Flower Bouquet from Flowers and Fancies (Wide range!)
Whether you’re looking to buy jewelry, chocolates, flowers, or accessories for the guy in your life, look to stores based in Baltimore. The brands and companies mentioned here are only a sampling; other brands I didn’t get to include in this collage are:
- B.Willow – They make terrariums that are cute alternatives to flowers and they last longer than a traditional bouquet!
- Mouth Party Caramels – Admittedly these are not chocolate but are a local alternative for anyone’s sweet tooth!
- Berries by Quicha – They have arrangements of chocolate-covered treats ready for any day of the year!
If bae wants something that’s cheaper on Amazon? Go out of your way to book a reservation at one of Baltimore’s many local restaurants to celebrate! If you’re single? Join the club haha. All the more reason to buy yourself a gift AND dinner…because YOU’RE WORTH IT. I’ll probably be buying myself a pint of Taharka Bros Honey Graham ice cream…
