Are investment bikinis a thing? Bikinis can span a variety of price points, and while I've always dreamed of owning a bikini collection to rival any SoCal native, I've never invested in bikinis because it never made sense for my lifestyle:
Until recently, I've never lived near a pool/beach. You know me...hyperpractical.
My size 6/8 self cared too much about what others would think.
Many bikini's I've loved are....expensive.
Well I'm happy to report I'm officially #TeamBikini. Life's too short to care about others' opinions and with our recent move, we gained access to pools. As a result, I decided it was time to invest in a bikini I LOVE. And when I say I love this bikini, I mean I LOVE it.
The only thing I love more than a retro-inspired pattern is a flattering fit. And when I saw the GEO Collection from SAME Los Angeles....I knew I'd get both. I'm not sure if the brand knew they were creating show-stopper, but this vintage Pucci-inspired bikini is the embodiment of structured femininity. It hugs and highlights every curve.
If I'm being honest, I had a hard time picking one suit out of the entire GEO Collection. Originally, I wanted this one-piece, but it's been sold out for months. The high-waisted bottoms were a must-have for this 5'4" body, but if you're into this print, there are a variety of tops to choose from. I'm planning to buy this asymmetrical top to mix-and-match with my bottoms.
If you love this bikini but not the price, you can shop similar bikinis here. And here are three other bikinis I bought for under $35.
